I have high hopes from ROKKK - Shaad Randhava
An exclusive interview with lead actor of ROKK and son of world famous wrestler Randhawa
By : FameBollywood
Shaad Randhava may appear a new name, but for those who have seen Wo Lamhe and Awaapan this is a known name because Shaad Randhava had attracted viewers’ attention in these films. Son of world famous wrestler Randhava and nephew of Dara Singh have now earned a name for himself. Acting is in his bloods due to his father and uncle. Famous actress Mumtaz is his Mausi, mother's sister. At present Shaad is the playing the lead role in Rokkk and has Udita Goswami and Tanushree Dutta as glamorous actresses in the film.
Rokkk is being presented by Ikkon Films and produced by the trio of Krishna Chaudhary-Sumit Sehgal-Vipin Jain. Director of the film is Rajesh Ransinghe. Recently we met Shaad on the sets of the film where we had a long chat. Presented below are the excerpts from that chat:
Do you wanted to do act in the films since your childhood?
Yes, this is true. I had a family of film personalities and was doing stage shows since I was in class four of Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai. Then I did the same during my college days in M.M.K. College where I did my B.Com. I was known for performing all kinds of roles and viewers used to appreciate my acting and dialogues. It was then that I decided to join films as an actor.
How did you get the entry?
Due to my Uncle Dara Singh and Mausi Mumtaz I had no difficulty in getting entry into the films. But you get the chance only once and thereafter you get everything based on your own performance. Your have to fight for every inch of territory here. I got a role in Wo Lamhe in 2006. This was a Bhatt camp film which was directed by Mohit Suri. The story was based on the life of Parveen Bobby. I got a chance to work with Shainy Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut in this film. I was awarded the Best New-comer for the film by Stardust. Being awarded in my very first film encouraged me. Thereafter did many important roles in Awarapan and Dhum Dhadaka etc.
How were you selected in ROKKK?
Producer Krishna Chaudhary was looking for a young actor and Imran Hashmi and secretary of Udita Goswami introduced my name. I was called and got selected after I met krishna Chaudhary and Rajesh Ransinghe at the office of Ikkon Films.
What was the special which made you accept the offer?
Krishna Chaudhary had once made a Sunny Deol starrer movie Right Yaa Wrong presented by Subhash Ghai. He has also made Jacky Shroff starrer Bhoot Uncle. So he is a producer who has a history of successfully completing and releasing films in time. Right or wrong is due for release this month. Then I had a chance to work with Udita Goswami, Tanushree Dutta, and Sachin Khedekar. Third is my role in the film and its story and finally is the fact that director Raajesh Ransinghe is known as master of horror films.
Now please tell something about your role and the film Rokk?
I am doing the character of Ranbir who is a CBI officer. Udita Goswami and Tanushree Dutta are sisters in the film. This is a horror movie. Some unnatural happenings start in the house of Tanu. Her sister Udita thinks that some one is doing all this mischief and so I am entrusted to look for the culprit. Udita is a courageous girl and joins me in this mission. We then develop intimacy. I am getting good support from the producer Krishna Chaudhary and director Rajesh Ransinghe, so I have high hopes from this film Rokkk
Do you believe in ghosts and this type of incidents?
No, I don’t believe in such stories, but after doing the film I have started feeling that there are some invisible powers too. Some times when rituals are performed for exhorting it seems that some unnatural power is trying to create obstacle for the film. Just see now, the shooting has stopped due to rains and it is raining in only half a kilometer radius around the shooting area. Is not it surprising?
What kinds of films are you going to do in future?
I would like to do this type of character as I have in Rokkk. Then I would like to insure that the character matches my personality. I am going to act in Bunty Walia's Gangs of London and a special project of Vishesh Films after Rokkk.

There is something new to do in ROKKK : Sachin Khedekar
An exclusive interview with famous artist - Sachin Khedekar
By : FameBollywood
Sachin Khedekar, who played the role of Home Minister Shivshanakar in the recently released film Shadow, is popular on small as well as silver screen for the last 25 years. Rang Rasiya, Jaan Ki Baaji, Jor Laga ke Haiyya, Ek - Power of One are some such films which shows the busyness of Sachin.
Sachin started his career with Imtihaan serial and then graduated on to silver screen with Astitva where he made his mark doing a negative role in his very first film. Though he is equally busy in theatre as well as films, Sachin loves doing theatres. Acting has become his second nature as he has been acting since his childhood in Marathi and Hindi theatres and hardly any retakes are needed while he shoots for his films.
Born at VilleParle in Mumbai Sachin joined the theatre group of famous actor-director VInay Apte. This evergreen actor is now busy shooting for ROKKK being produced under the banner of Ikon Films by Krishna Chaudhary, Sumit Sahgal, and,Vipin Jain. The flm ROKKK is being shot at Future Studio of Mumbai. I had a small chat with him on the sets where he was shooting with much talked about actress Tanushri Dutta. Presented here are the excerpts from that interview:
Let us start with your role in the film ROKK.
I am doing the role of Ravi Malhotra, a simple straight forward youth. Anushka(Tanushri) is my wife and Nishi(Preeti Sharma) is my sister. Udita Goswami is playing the role of my sister-in-law (saali) and Shaad Randhawa is playing her boyfriend.
And something about today's shoots?
It is my marriage anniversary celebrated in a Bungalow I am presenting to my wife on this anniversary. Party is due tonight and the preparation is going on.
What is special in this film?
I can't give you the details. You will have to ask Rajesh Ransinghe. As this is a horror and suspense thriller nothing should be divulged ahead of the release. But coming to my role, my wife feels that something strange are happening with her since she came here. We have got many rituals performed by exorcists before we are shifting here. My wife is scared and so am I. It appears that some magical power wants to disturb us. So we are moving around in the house scared inside.
Have you ever felt such incidents in your real life?
No, I don’ believe in these superstitions. But even today we had a strange experience here on the sets. Everything was arranged, Rangoli and all, for today's shooting annd director and producer left yesterday after everything was properly locked. But when we arrived today everything was dispersed. What to say about this? Some say that it is due to the scene shot yesterday to exorcize the ghost. Only God knows more.
Director Rajesh Ransinghe belongs to small screen. Were you in tune with him from there?
We are known to each other for years but have-not got chance to work together. This film has given that chance to work together. It is also first opportunity to work with Krishna Chaudhary, Sumeet Sehgal, and Vipin Jain of Ikkon Films. Sumeet Sehgal is an established artist so he knows the job; Krishna Chaudhary is also a known personality. He has made Bhoot Uncle and Right yaaa Wrong earlier.
What is your attitude towards acting?
I don’t think acting is by birth or by training. Acting improves with practice. Much you work, much you learn. I am a Marathi and I learnt Hindi by hard way and am still learning. I read Hindi newspapers loudly so that I can deliver my dialogues effectively.
You are on both the screens, small as well as silver. Which one is more important?
I started with small screen and earned my recognition from there. Now I am working more for the silver screen. The difference I felt is that one looks smaller on TV while big on cinema screen. People forget you once the serial becomes old in memory while they remember cinema personalities longer.
How do you bring variations in your roles?
I always want to do roles with a difference. When they become similar I move to theatre where a new Sachin grows with a new energy. For example my upcoming film is Ek Thi Raani, which is based on the life of Vijaya Raje Scindhia and I am doing the role of Sardar Angre. Another film Ravan by Maniratnam has me in a govt. Officer role.

So the Commercial time of Abhishek-Ishteyak, for bollywood is still to come in next few weeks.........
Here are some excerpts of an interview with Abhishek Tripathi:
What inspired you to compose such a beautiful song?
Actually we both are from theatre, in our time of struggle, we were in touch of Ranjitji for some theatre and serial projects in Mumbai. Ranjit ji, who himself is a very good composer too; always inspired us to do some innocent and beautiful work, and it gave us a feel to create according to his needs for the song Chai ke Bahane. The first sitting for this song was too long. Ranjit ji was in script rehearsal for his play Rahen Na Rahen Hum, and he called us to join after completing his session of script. Then he described the song in such a clear crystal way, which gave us to visualize the song in heart and screen too. The aura he created in our heart for this song came with this composition. And after hearing this tune, he decided to record it in a real no time situation. He wanted a nostalgic feel fulfilled with romance, thirst and zeal, and we did it in this way.
Tell me about your journey to music direction?
I was in the audience of a circus, and there was a great orchestra band performing live. You know the kind of music played there, very much enthusiastic and thrilling. That was my first exploration for music really in the age of only 5 years. After that I started to dream to be a real performer and musician. Then I fell down in music flow. In the year 1993, for a theatre show, I got forced to compose music for that play, and everyone liked and appreciated my musical creatures, and the dream inside me to be a Music composer taken a sharp turn. Then after I seriously took the job and composed everywhere I got a chance to compose. Theatre is a real medium to learn any kind of art and life. It gave me a vision to visualize the things in the right way. And after this journey, I turned as a composer.
Who inspired you most?
The inspiration, I think, comes from the side of god. You can say inspiration is a call from god to do anything. God called me in circus to be a music composer, and now I am. My parents played a critical role according to call of god and my wish. They always supported me wisely and heartily. They never forced me to diversify somewhere else, rather to say the insisted me to be in music. My elder brother was a serious theatre worker and he made me working all the time as a composer for his plays and for modern poetry too.
Who was the person behind this song to be in Chintuji, of course WHY?
Ranjit ji, gave us a chance to compose for this song. This song was created for a Serial, it was the title song. When Chintuji film was on floor of shoot at Himachal, Ranjit ji and Rishi kapur ji were discussing about some song in film, and then Ranjit ji hummed this song in some reference. After some time in same day, Rishi ji was humming this song unknowingly, and then he said to Ranjit ji that this song must be taken in film in a new look. It suits our script. The rest work has done by Ranjit ji, and we recorded in the fuller version.
What is specialty in your Music ?
Very wise question to an upcoming music director. We have only one things in our music, and that is Indian melody with moods, feelings, in the modern and fresh from with all exploration of world’s music experimentation, and it is all for a heart.
What you are looking forward after Chintuji ?
I look forward for a bright way for us with some good meaningful projects, specially the projects of musical expressions. And I personally feel, our vision to music will make a mark in heart of audience, what more else a music composer wishes/ desires/ wants. Nothing.
Film Chintuji is going to be released by Eros Entertainment on Sept 4th this year. Rishi Kapoor has played a lead role with Priyanshu Chatterjee, Kulraj Randhawa, Directed by Ranjit Kapoor and Produced by Bobby Bedi.

I want to do every type of roles
An exclusive interview with Bad Boy Prabhat Bhattacharya
By : FameBollywood
Prabhat Bhattacharya is a hit and popular artist. Especially, his roles in Balaji’s serials are still remembered. Ajay Agrawal in ‘Kahani Ghar – Ghar ki’,Ajay in ‘Kasturi’, Dev in ‘Kabhi Aye Na Judaai’, Rahul in ‘Kumkum’ and ‘Koi Apna Sa’, Inrajeet in ‘Doli Saja Ke’ are engraved on viewers’ mind. His negative role of a ruffian Ajit in Balaji’s serial for Zee TV’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ has earned him even more fans. He is also doing tittle role in film based on football “Kaanu- the Footballer”. He is a socially aware person. And that is what got him to support and canvass for an independent candidate Madhu Koda in Jharkhand in 2009 Lok Shabha election. His candidate won with a margin of more than one lakh votes.
Excerpts :
What is your role in ‘Pavitra Rishta’?
It is a negative character of a Maharastrian ruffian boy. Role is very powerful and I am enjoying it.
Why negative role, when your image is so contrary?
I am an actor. I love acting. When you do similar roles for long, the acting spirit in you takes a nosedive. So, in order to let your actor in you alive and kicking, it is very important to do different roles, to look into the roles what is beyond your image. For me, only one thing is important and that is role. If role is powerful, nothing matters whether it is negative or positive. In Pavitra Rishta I found role very powerful and what I had not done earlier.
You are also doing a film ‘Kaanu- the Footballer’. What is this film all about?
As name suggests, you can easily figure out what is the all about. I have been a football fan since my childhood. So, this film fulfills my childhood desire of being a footballer. I am training very hard to look like a real football player in the film. Everything is in the process; it will be premature to give out details of this film at this moment.
You canvassed for an independent Candidate Madhu Koda in election 2009. Love for Politics or the Politician?
Both. As an aware citizen of the country you have to be part of its politics. Either as a voter, or as a politician or as a supporter. You should not get rid of this responsibility. Madhu Koda is very good friend of mine. Apart from that, I value him as a politician also. We transformed a truck into stage and named Madhu Koda Express. We did shows on it all over the city. We conveyed the message across to the masses that Madhu is a young and dynamic leader who really wants to do something for the people. I think people understood us and gave their mandates in our favour. During this period we even founded there a football club “Football club of Kolhaan’ where one can learn football.
You are mostly seen in Balaji’s serials. Any special reason for that?
I have got everything what I, as an actor and as a person, wanted from Balaji Prductions. They gave me opportunities to show my talent. They gave love and respect. What else an actor needs? Having worked in Balaji’s so many serials, it has become second home.
What is your future plan?
To prove my self as a versatile actor. An actor who is loved, appreciated and remembered for his work.

Chitah Yajness Shhetty will tell you, How does martial art actually benefit for your Child health?
An exclusive interview with Martial Art expert Yajness Shhetty
By : FameBollywood
Chitah Yajness Shhetty is a known name in the film industry. Marshal Art,Action and fight sequence have been one of the most important ingredients of films and in such scenes martial arts has its own importance.
‘Martial arts in film’ always evokes Chitah Yajness’s name into the mind of members of film fraternity. In the last 30 years he has trained many small and big stars in different forms of martial arts. His training institute Chitah’s Workshop at Andheri (w), Mumbai is a centre for casting an actor’s body for any fight or action. Bollywood’s biggest names, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Isha Koppikar, Karishma kapoor , have trained and prepared for their screen fights under him, and they can vouch for Chitah’s in-depth knowledge of martial arts.
Now Chitah Yajness Shhetty will tell you, How does martial art actually
benefit for your Child health? He will give you some tips as follows:
SO your child wants To kick, punch ?
A lot of parent's shudder in disbelief when their child mentions the work Karate or Martial Arts. Broken furniture, mangled brothers and sisters, and holes in the walls are usually the first images that pop into a parent's head. Dispelling these myths and misunderstandings is generally the right place to begin when you first start inquiring about the martial arts.
How can your child benefit from martial arts training?
Martial Arts is unique in athletics, not just in being a "self defense" form, but because it is a Total Learning style activity. To get a better idea of what we mean by Total Learning activity, let's compare baseball for children and Martial Arts.
While baseball is known for developing competitiveness, most beginning programs must by necessity assume the new players already possess the basic physical skills for the game. The ability to run, throw a ball, and other simple, hand-eye coordination skills are taken for granted. Many children, however, are underdeveloped in these skills, which prevents them from really taking part in the game and they end up as "bench warmers." Only the "naturals" end up receiving a full enjoyment of the sport.
Children learning Martial Arts begin by practicing the basic skills that are the foundation of the sport. These skills, which help build their coordination and balance, let the children become active in their sport as they progress, instead of just sitting on the bench. These fundamentals are the building blocks of all athletic skills and allow every child to progress, no matter what abilities he first brings to class.
self discipline and self confidence for your child?
When you first visit a martial arts school, much of what you see may be new to you. One of the more subtle things you'll notice is the air of dignity and discipline in a class. These traditions are not only a part of the history of Martial Arts, but also help to make it a special activity that retains its excitement of years. The bowing you see in class, for example, may not have much meaning on its own, but this traditional Oriental greeting adds a very special air of dignity. A great example of tradition and discipline that you are probably already familiar with is the Boy Scouts. Their oath and salute would surely stand out if reviewed separately but together they enhance the total program and give it an order that allows the child to learn more in a shorter period of time.
The discipline you see in your class often turns into self discipline outside of class. Usually, when children first start Martial Arts, it's the parents who love the discipline and the child who is drawn by the fun and challenge of the martial art.
Later, after the child has acquired respect for others and most importantly himself-he will develop a sense of personal commitment. This commitment and discipline can often reflect in things he does in his everyday life. A lot of parents, for example, notice subtle changes in their children's school work and in their self control and patience with other children.
Another benefit associated with our style of training is improved self confidence. Any child can do Martial Arts-all at various levels of proficiency-and everyone can progress and feel a sense of accomplishment. This allows a child to gain confidence in his abilities while learning to deal effectively with peers and adults.
Getting started:
New beginners are starting every day. Each new student starts slowly and progresses at his own rate of speed. Most children should begin by attending twice a week with each class lasting about an hour.
Don't be concerned if your child is a little nervous or thinks the techniques look to difficult; he will be in class with other beginners just like himself. The instructors will do everything possible to make sure this nervousness disappears as quickly as possible.
Thanks again for your interest and we hope you decide to make Homer Martial Arts a part of your child's learning and recreation activities.
Martial arts will help give your child an edge in life.
At our Martial Arts Academy we work hard to instill in our children's program the same type of values you stress at home. Things like honesty, self discipline and self control. We also work on a number of other attributes that could really give your child an edge on life.

Self respect gives your child the confidence to face up to the many challenges he will face in the future, while the peace of mind you get from knowing he can defend himself will never go away.
Health, Defense, Fitness and Fun... a great combination to improve your life:
If you are looking to get in great shape but are tired of the same old music at the aerobics center or the same old routine at the gym, we have the answer. Our Martial Arts adult health and fitness program.

Structured programs.

Mani Ratnam’s “Raavan” is not a mythos. … Ravi Kissen
An exclusive interview on Mani Ratnam's "Raavan" with Bhojpuri super star.
By : FameBollywood
It would be a sin to keep referring to Ravi Kissen as the Bhojpuri superstar. After all, this talented actor has taken huge strides to emerge as hot property in Bollywood.
Recently, Ravi has finished shooting on the outskirts of Kochi for Mani Ratnam’s Ravan which stars Abhishek and Aishwarya. Prior to this, he was in South Africa where he matches shoulders with the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty and the nation’s heartthrob Imran Khan in Soham Shah’s upcoming film Luck. He could be in for the biggest role of his life if the film based on Rahul Raj, the Bihar youth who was recently shot dead by Mumbai police, materialises.
Bollywood may have opened its doors for him but Ravi isn’t one to neglect television. After all, it was Bigg Boss that catapulted him to national fame. Ravi will be back in the Bigg Boss house to grace
Tere Naam, Hera Pheri, Welcome to Sajjanpur and now Ravan. Is Bollywood finally giving Ravi Kissen his due?
Yes, it’s been due for over 19 years. I’m thrilled that my work is now appreciated.
Are there any regrets why this didn’t happen at a time when you could have played more lead actor’s role?
No, I have no problem with it. It’s better late than ever. I’m loaded with plum offers. I’m getting to do my kind of cinema which is very arty in nature. Besides, in our industry, you become a hero after 40. And I’m only 37 now. This is a rocking period for me.
You look more muscular. Are you emulating the likes of SRK, Aamir and Salman?
Competition is always good. It makes you aware of yourself. You become more fit. As a hero, it’s imperative that you keep looking good. I exercise for 90 minutes every day. I too will soon flaunt my packs.
Is it true that you’re playing Kumbhkaran in Mani Ratnam’s Ravan?
These reports are totally false. I want to clear that Ravan is not a mytho. It’s an intense love story. I play Abhishek’s brother and beyond this I can’t tell you anything. What I can say is that shooting for this film has been quite an experience. We wake up at 3.30 am; never put any make-up and we’re shooting in a place where we are surrounded by snakes, leeches and other creatures. I badly needed a film like Ravan which would enable me to break into world cinema. I want to be part of international films.
It’s buzzed that you’re going to play the lead role in a film based on the life of Rahul Raj.
It’s too early to say anything. Firstly, I’m doing a lot of research on this boy. We need to find out whether he was frustrated, and what prompted to take such an action. From what I’ve learned through the media is that he was carrying a katta (hand made revolver) which contains only one bullet. If that turns out to be the truth, then one has to question the need to shoot him in the head.
However, if it’s proven that Rahul was guilty and that he did carry more bullets then I won’t go ahead with the film.
What was your first reaction to this case?
I was so saddened by his death that I didn’t celebrate Diwali. I didn’t have any sweets nor did I distribute any. I just kept praying the whole day.
Rather giving any communal tone to it, shouldn’t one just look at the Rahul Raj case as a law and order issue?
This is a very sensitive matter. It is very easy for me to talk but my words can be interpreted in other ways. I don’t want to create any controversies.
As a North Indian , do you feel unsafe in Mumbai?
No. I’m living happily Mumbai. There are about 45 lakh north Indians living in Mumbai and I don’t think many have left. Whatever trouble that we are seeing is just a run-up to the elections. Once the elections are over things will be back to normal.
Tell us what will you be doing in Bigg Boss 2?
I’ll be required to go there for just one day. I still don’t know what my role would be. Probably, I’d be asked to go inside the house and perform.
Bigg Boss 2 is drawing flak for being vulgar and the quality of contestants too doesn’t excite many.
The first season was original. I can’t say the same about the current season. We never played for money. What we’re seeing now is complete stupidity. Those inside the house should understand that you are on national television and are being watched by family and children. You have responsibility towards the community. Unfortunately, that is what is lacking in Bigg Boss 2.
We’ve heard Bigg Boss 2 contestants say that they are here to improve their image. However, from what we’ve seen they seem to doing the opposite. Do you agree?
I don’t know about others but I can only speak for myself. This show changed my life completely. I really owe 80 per cent of my success to Bigg Boss. The game is not only about winning 50 lakh rupees but you need to earn respect all over the country. This is an opportunity which needs to be cashed but the current lot doesn’t seem to understand this. It’s their fault and their loss.
